You are looking at an intriguing picture of a shepherd leading his sheep through a very deep valley. It was taken in between 1898 and 1946 by the American Colony in Jerusalem.

The picture presents a scene reminiscent of the 23rd Psalm, and the Valley of the Shadow of Death.
