Here we present a stunning image of the Lower Slopes of the Mount of Olives. It was taken in between 1940 and 1946 by Matson Photo Service, photographer.

The image shows Jerusalem in the background, and an old stone fence in the foreground. Streets and walls of Jerusalem can be seen.
