Here for your browsing pleasure is an imposing photo of a Shepherd holding his Rod and his Sling. The Sling has a Rock in it. It was made in between 1898 and 1914 by the Photography Department of the American Colony in Jerusalem.

The illustration documents typical shepherd of the middle east, and is reminiscent of King David as a Boy.
